Centennial sits at about 5,830 feet, right in Hail Alley, under strong mountain sun. A bare patio bakes all afternoon in summer and takes a beating every time a big storm rolls through. Since a lot of homes here date back to the 1970s through the 1990s, plenty of patios are still bare concrete with no cover at all. A real roof over it fixes both, shade when it's hot, and cover when it hails or snows.
We build patio covers that are a true roof on solid posts, not a flimsy add-on. That's what lets it shrug off the hail, shed the snow, and still look like it was part of the house from day one.

Most patio covers fail for the same few reasons, the hail, the snow, the sun, the clay, or a skipped permit. We build for all of them.
The clay under Centennial swells up when it gets wet, enough to push a patio cover post out of true. We dig the posts down deep, past the clay to solid ground, so a wet spring can't lift the cover.
The strong sun makes a bare patio too hot to use on an afternoon, a cover gives you real shade. We use tougher boards that hold their color longer instead of fading and drying out in a summer or two.
Centennial sits right in Hail Alley and gets some of the worst hail anywhere. A real roof over your patio takes the hits so your patio, table, and grill don't, and so you're not patching damage after every big summer storm.
A patio cover needs a permit from the City of Centennial, the same as a deck. A standard review takes about 10 to 15 business days, and we pull it for you. We also fill out the HOA form for neighborhoods like Willow Creek and Piney Creek.
